Itinerary
07:00 AM: Leave the bustling streets of Hanoi behind as you journey north into the remote mountains of Bac Kan.
Along the scenic drive, stop for lunch before continuing to Boc Lom, where your first adventure begins.
After a short safety briefing, grab your kayak and paddle down the Nang River, gliding through the mysterious Puong Cave and into Ba Be Lake. Pass limestone cliffs, small islands like Widow Island, and peaceful Tay villages along the way.
If the weather allows, cool off with a swim in the emerald water before heading to your eco-lodge, Ba Be Jungle Houses, for a forest BBQ dinner and a night surrounded by the tranquil sounds of nature.
Highlights and activities: Puong cave, Ba Be lake & kayaking on Nang river.
After breakfast at Ba Be Jungle Houses, hop on a boat and cruise across the tranquil lake to the opposite shore—where your cycling adventure begins! Once your bike is set up, start pedaling toward Pac Ngoi Village, home to the Tay ethnic people.
Ride along lush rice fields and traditional stilt houses, breathing in the crisp mountain air. You’ll have the chance to meet locals, learn about their simple yet rich daily life, and capture the charm of this peaceful valley.
Continue your ride to Hua Ma Cave, an impressive dry cave filled with sparkling stalactites that resemble a forest of stone. To reach the entrance, conquer more than 300 steps—a rewarding climb that leads to breathtaking views.
From here, cycle another 5 km to Silver Waterfall, where you’ll stop for a picnic lunch beside the cascading water. Enjoy the sound of the falls and the serenity of the forest, or join the local kids for a refreshing swim if the weather is warm! In the afternoon, ride back through the scenic trails of Bo Lu Village, surrounded by limestone peaks and emerald greenery.
Return to Ba Be Jungle Houses in the late afternoon, where a hearty dinner and a peaceful night in the heart of nature await.
